The site illustrates a potential model for mobilising capital towards energy infrastructure. Implementation of each instrument, subscription journey and distribution channel would depend on the applicable legal and regulatory framework.
Structuring to be validated
The legal vehicle, governance, regime applicable to the instruments and responsibilities of each participant will need to be defined with the competent authorities and advisers.
Investor protection
Any launch would require, among other things, KYC/KYB, risk-information, cash-flow management, safeguarding and compliance arrangements appropriate to the product offered.
Cross-border flows
Any access by diaspora investors or investors located outside Morocco would require a specific framework for cross-border flows, distribution rules and applicable regulatory obligations.
